1. The Advantage : Trading is all about possibilities and you need to find an advantage in the chart to trade the long/short side with the highest possibility. Its one of the most important aspects when its comes to stock market trading. Without advantage you won't be profitable in the long run. 

Casino example:

Why is the casino always winning in the long run ? 

Because the casino has an advantage on the roulette table with the green ZERO.
So if you you bet against the casino the odds are 52% for the casino and 48% for you. 
Thats an advantage for the casino and because of that the casino will always will over time.

The same thing occurs on the stock market. Not every trade will be a winner but over time you should make money if you can identify an advantage in the markt.

So how to find an advantage ?

With the Elliott Waves and alternative counting you should be able to analyse an asset with the ratio who has the higher possibility side to trade. 

example: Analysing the S&P500. 
3 counts point to the long side and 1 count points short. The ratio is 3vs1 for long so The Advantage is on the Long side and so I will look for a long entry.
